Upper Room Theological Leadership Institute is a work of God birthed out of the vision of the founder and President, Dr. Teresa W. Ragland, to glorify God while inspiring leaders to transform the world around us through teaching and learning the Word of God to further expand the Kingdom of God. Dr. Teresa Ragland’s prayer to the Lord was concerning the critical issues of violence, prejudice, and divisiveness facing our world today and how we could make a difference to affect change. She was inspired to fulfill and a long awaited dream to further extend and fortify the Kingdom of God by developing spiritual leaders to carry God’s message of redemption and healing.
Upper Room Theological Leadership Institute is a private non-profit Christian bible based institute located in Birmingham Alabama. The institute offers Certificates, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degree programs in Christian Education, and Pastoral Ministry and Theology. Instruction is provided by spirit filled, highly skilled and certified professionals focused on empowering others to reach their potential. The Institute is affiliated with the Upper Room Fellowship Church.
